Easy to cut to fit the sofa. Firm enough for the cat to scratch its nails without breaking it. Works well to avoid hurting the sofa. The glue is good and easy.

Generous Size: At 39.3×15.8 inches, it provides excellent coverage, making it ideal for revamping an old scratching post or protecting furniture.
Durable and Effective: The material is tough enough to withstand my cats’ claws and has held up beautifully.
Secure Adhesion: The adhesive backing sticks well and keeps the protector in place, whether on furniture or wrapped around a scratching post.
Neutral Design: The off-white color blends easily with most décor, making it versatile and unobtrusive.
This protector has been a lifesaver for extending the life of my cats’ scratching post and keeping them entertained. It’s a practical, durable, and effective solution for cat owners. Highly recommend!

The color is off-white, and it matches almost perfectly with my hallway paint. I’ve included a picture of the before and after, and if you aren’t looking closely you almost can’t tell the material has been applied. The adhesive is strong and so far it looks like it will stay in place. I’m really glad to have found this product and a solution to what I thought was going to be expensive and time consuming, but ended up being quick and easy.

My cat would not stop tearing up the arm of my chair. I finally got this and the color matches almost exactly

Using mine to protect my couch corners. It sticks great to my micro fiber fabric couch. The price is a very good value and shipping was fast. It Is super easy to cut straight with the grid lines on back and it’s easy and straightforward to attach.
I recommend this product.

Very easy to use, good texture that the cats should be able to grip without damaging the wall that it’s mounted to. Appearance is nice for what it is, and is certainly better than scuffed or clawed surfaces. The clear wrap on the adhesive section was a bit finicky to get the edge, but once it was free it came away nicely. The adhesive had good grip, and allowed me to readjust it without tearing off any paint, which is more than I can say for other self-adhesive products out there. Good size for the money, I even have a small section leftover I’ll have to find a place for.

Almost too sticky. Very easy to size/cut with regular scissors. I’ll probably buy another roll!

When I moved my open space living room has three floor to ceiling wooden posts. Well , my cat’s were thrilled thinking that I had provided them with three giant scratching posts. This product has been great to cover up the damage. They do still scratch on it.Just not as much as when it was bare wood so it is functional.
The glue stuck very well, actually I am not sure how I will get it off if that becomes necessary.
The base color is neutral enough to totally blend with my decor which is a huge plus. It is a quality product that is standing up to scratching from 6 cats. I have definitely gotten the value for my money from this product. As it would have been a hugely essentive hassle to replace these 3 posts.

This has an adhesive backing that you just peel off and then apply the cut piece to the wall, corner, couch or more of your choice. I have this wrapped around the wooden pillar beside my staircase. Works like a charm. It doesn’t have the strongest adhesive, which is why it will peel off without any damaging effects, but it easily presses back down. It isn’t lifting off, it just has a tiny separation at the top on the wood application, like a couple millimeters.

My cats had a large, carpeted climbing tree that they loved to scratch with their claws. I bought this to replace the old material. It was easy to cut with regular scissors, and had great guide lines on the back to make trimming easy. I didn’t need to use additional glue to attach it to my large scratcher, and the new material looked great/seemed to match my old scratcher.
The downside? This is first and foremost a cat deterrent, not meant for DIY cat scratchers. My cats no longer scratch their tree (just the pedestals, which I did not replace). They go on it still, and can climb up the material just fine, but they don’t like scratching it at all. I’m a little disappointed that their favorite scratching tree no longer works; I have other furniture for them to scratch, so we’re still leaving the carpeting on for now, until I can get them something better.
If you need a cat deterrent, this works great! They hate the material, and it looks really nice. The value is great, and I still had some left over after carpeting this 7 ft cat tree.

My cats love scratching the left door frame of the main bathroom and it had gotten so bad that I thought I was going to have to reframe the door. Not having the time or the money to get into a project like that, I decided to try this Anti Cat Scratch Couch and Furniture Protector material.
I think the point for this is to use it before the damage occurs but I didn’t even know something like this was in existence until I found this listing. I can see that my felines have tested out the right side of the door frame so I’m going to preempt them and put this material on first.
It works similar to peel and stick wallpaper. There’s a little flag attached at one corner to start removing the backing paper but then you’ll need to use your own tape to get it apart.
The backing has lines on it which was very helpful for the first few inches, but not all the lines are complete so I ended up having to lay it out on the floor with a ruler and a marker to get it cut straight. I am not having issues with the couch and the product specifically says couch and furniture protection, so for my use there’s a lot on the roll and I’ll be able to apply this to several more door frames.

So far I am loving this product. The mat was very easy to measure and cut. I love the grid on the back to make sure it’s straight. It sticks so well to our furniture. Our cats have done a number on our couch over the years and this is a beautiful solution. For us, the color matches our couch pretty well so it isn’t immediately noticable, way less noticeable than the scratched up corners! I’ll be purchasing more to cover more areas.

I have 2 cats! 1 who LOVES my couch and the other who loves the carpet and stretch box. This has helped my one cat to stop with couch stretching. He has used it a few times but now likes the box more. I have not removed it from my couch yet so I’m not sure if it would leave anything behind like the sticky pad adhesive. I don’t plan to remove it until my cats pass away or the couch goes. It has NOT peeled off al all! I would recommend for those kitty’s that need to stretch on the couch.

I bought some appearance boards at the hardware store to make shelves for my cat, and I used this product to “carpet” her new shelves. my cat loves it! she scratches it and lays up on the shelves all the time now. so far it hasn’t peeled up at all. it was easy to cut to size and apply to the boards. it works really well for this function. I will probably buy more to actually cover the scratched couch corners too
